John Biden Tweets His Support For Concert Ticket Junk Fees, While You Struggle To Afford Gas And Groceries
Since ticket prices are probably the last thing most Americans are concerned about, that is now Joe Biden's top priority as he focuses all his efforts on America's ‘concert fee crisis.’ Because ‘junk fees’ are only allowed when they go to the government.
"Concert tickets are hard enough to get, you shouldn’t have to pay surprise service fees on top of that. My Administration is working to crack down on those junk fees, so you know what you are paying for upfront," Biden wrote on X.
Excuse me, but READ THE ROOM.
Everyone hates a processing fee, but I am more concerned about the fact that my gas tank now cost $75 to fill up when it used to cost under $40.
I also hate a monopoly, and Ticketmaster may definitely be in that category, but when has the Biden Administration ever had an idea that helped the average American?
Something tells me this is not about ‘junk fees.’
I also could care less about some ‘Swiftie’ who can’t afford overpriced concert tickets.
In February, Biden touted the Junk Fee Prevention Act and railed against “surprise resort fees” from hotels, charges from “cable, Internet, and cell phone companies,” and “service fees on tickets to concerts and sporting events” that “make it harder for you to pay your bills or afford that family trip.”
Last year, Biden also suggested that 'people of color' can't afford or don't know how to choose airplane seats with more legroom.
"Some airlines, if you want six more inches between you and the seat in front, you pay more money but you don't know it ... these are junk fees, they're unfair and they hit marginalized Americans the hardest, especially ... people of color,” he said.
Yes, because it is ‘junk fees’ that hurt the economy and people's pockets, not Bidenomics.
And can we get a list of what isn't racist? I feel like that would be easier.
Typical Democrats, gaslight the public to villainize companies for fees that they are probably charging due to raging inflation, and turn yourself into the hero for low information voters.
They are essentially creating the problem by destroying the economy, and then trying to play hero as they ‘fix’ their own destruction. All while we sit back and acquiesce to more government control in the private sector.
Anytime the government tries to villainize private companies, it is never in the interest of the American people. Well, most of the time.
When progressives rage against a private company about prices, the solution is always more government control. It is never to actually crackdown on corruption or monopolies.
And as far as monopolies go, concert tickets are probably the dumbest one to pick. Since it affects no one's quality of life.
I am old enough to remember when Joe Biden attempted to hold your job hostage while he coerced you to get a vaccine that was paid for by taxes, and the only ones who profited off of that was Big Pharma. Probably, one of the worst monopolies ever.
Don’t fall for it. When was the last time Biden came up with an idea that put more money in your pocket?
This is probably just to test people to see how dumb they are to allow more government control and regulations.
And don’t fall for it when democrats or RINOs gaslight you and say things like ‘But two things can be fixed at once. Biden can fix the border and fix junk fees at the same time.’
No, the Biden Administration does not fix anything, especially when it comes to the economy.
When was the last time Biden fixed anything?
“Bidenomics is about growing the middle class, which is why President Biden is spearheading the fight against junk fees that are unjustly raising costs,” said Kevin Munoz, a spokesperson for Biden’s reelection campaign, according to AP.
Right, because that will definitely grow the middle class. It is not like their jobs will be taken away by migrant workers or something like that.
Biden used a similar excuse last time and now the IRS will know if you sell a ticket for $600, essentially creating an IRS army.
Biden says he wants to control fees now, but don’t be surprised when they start trying to control prices.
And can we please take care of these junk fees in government spending first?
Classic progressives, identify a villain, and then pick a ‘fight.’
