A TikTok Video On Bidenomics Has Team Biden So Wee-wee'd Up, They Want Social Media To Label It Misinformation
You don’t need to log onto social media to know that every time families shop at the grocery store, they get an expensive taste of Sleepy Joe's economy, otherwise known as “Bidenomics.”
Americans are currently dealing with elevated levels of inflation that have not been seen in decades and the White House wants you to disbelieve your eyes to improve low approval ratings on the economy.
A TikTok video of a man claiming that his double quarter pounder meal cost $16.10 is circulating online and the Biden team is now in overdrive to “improve its economic message,” according to the Washington Post, and is “working with social media platforms to counter misinformation.”
This effort seeks to counter reports that food and other items cost a lot after Biden-era inflation.
“On the one hand, administration officials say Biden deserves more credit for his economic accomplishments — a booming job market; substantial wage increases for low-income workers; rapid economic growth — that they say are the result of his 2021 economic stimulus and other legislative measures. Americans won’t give Biden credit for those accomplishments if the president and his allies don’t talk about them, many strategists and party officials argue,” the outlet reported.

Actually, employment has yet to return to pre-pandemic levels. Subsequently, they’ve been excluded from many metrics. The number employed is over five million below prior trends, according to the Heritage Foundation.
Inflation has outpaced gains for nearly every month Biden has been in office. But now the White House wants to rub salt in the wound as they attempt to further gaslight the masses as if inflation has not been robbing Americans.
"At the center of this debate is a dispute over to what extent social media and perceptions - rather than real conditions in the economy - are fueling voters' angst. There is at least some evidence that the digital world is painting a bleaker picture than the statistics support," the outlet stated.
I am not a policy expert, but maybe, just maybe, the “voters’ angst” might have something to do with the high prices at the grocery store, gas stations, car payments, and just about everything else. But again, I am not an expert.
The last thing that the White House should be doing is reminding people about food and gas prices if they want to win over more moderate voters. I highly doubt they will be fooled by this attempt to gaslight Americans that everything is just peachy when they attempt to fill up their fridge or gas tanks.
Only 14 percent of voters say Biden has made them better off, and 82 percent said their biggest financial stress was price increases, according to a recent survey. Would this survey be considered “misinformation” since Biden apparently “deserves more credit for his economic accomplishments?”
No matter how many posts are deemed “misinformation,” that will never replace the reality of “Bidenomics” and the economic policies that are de facto robbing Americans blind.
