The Senate bipartisan compromise dropped. It is the crap sandwich on bread made of Biden's soiled diapers that we thought it would be. House Speaker E. Normous Johnson says the bill is dead on arrival. Also? A key component that was meant to, I think, con conservatives into supporting it, has be exposed as bootycheeks by bill sponsor Democrat Senator Chris Murphy.

Sidenote: There's $20 billion "for border security to give the federal government temporary authority to expel migrants when the average number of daily crossings exceeds a threshold." Ukraine gets triple that. Notice how Murphy lists Ukraine BEFORE our own border. Remember, his thread is to sell this package to Democrat priorities.

The key detail that, I think, was supposed to appeal to conservatives is that if illegal migrant crossing reached a certain amount, the border would be shut down. However, if you did the math, 5,000 illegal a day equals 1.8 million a year. Also, why can't the government shut the border down now with the authority they already have to, like, secure our border?

Doesn't matter. As Senator Murphy, who negotiated the bill, let's people know... the BORDER NEVER CLOSES.

And even that doesn't matter, because Joe Biden or "Joe Biden" can overturn the limit if he feels like it.

I know that you know that I know that you know the scam. Democrats create a crisis. Democrats claim that a massive piece of legislation giving them new powers is the only way they can solve the crisis. Democrats AND the media (but I repeat myself) claim if you oppose that legislation you don't want to solve the crisis Democrats created. Besides the new powers, Democrats use the legislation to sneak in the crap they don't want you to see.

We've seen it with the administration.

• Democrats snuck lowering the threshold for taxing you on your side hustles to $600 PER TRANSACTION in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Critics called the bill "bribing us with our own money." If you opposed this part of the Biden agenda, you were told by the Left and the media you didn't want to help taxpayers by sending them stimulus checks.
• Funding for 87,000 new IRS employees was snuck into the Inflation Reduction Act. If you opposed this part of the Democrat agenda you were told you didn't want to reduce inflation. Biden has since admitted he lied about the Inflation Reduction Act ever being about reducing inflation.

Billions of dollars and giving Democrats more power to abuse aside, the bill doesn't even get to the core issue. Joe Biden can secure the border NOW. He chooses not to. The Biden Border crisis was created by his executive orders. Eight of which, Joe Biden signed LITERALLY ON HIS FIRST DAY in office. Like, he got sworn in, changed his underpants after his first presidential oopisie, and signed those eight executive orders. Illegals got the message and celebrated him as the migrant president, straight up admitting they would have never come if Trump was president.

Biden can rescind those orders. He doesn't want to. Democrats wanted the crisis so that they could "fix" the crisis. That's the most charitable, best-case scenario. At worst, as Steve Deace asks, if the invasion being permitted at our southern border isn't a replacement, then what is it?
