Bill Cosby was released from prison on Wednesday. All of that (alleged) raping and Cosby only served three years. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court overruled the conviction on a technicality. Cosby had cut a deal with one prosecutor, but then another prosecutor reneged on the deal and Cosby was convicted on the criminal charge of the second prosecutor, even though he cut a deal with the first prosecutor. It's confusing. All you need to know is that the Supreme Court sided with the first prosecutor. Bill Cosby is a free man. All of that (alleged) raping is behind him.

But what does Bill Cosby do now that he has his freedom back? Eddie Murphy had a good idea a few years ago after winning the Mark Twain prize. Cosby needs to do at least one more show!

Hitting the road again would be interesting, but I doubt Cosby would do so. He'd have to expect tons of protests outside any performance. You know, because of all the raping. Allegedly.

He might want to ask the advice of another black entertainer who found justice in the legal system, O.J. Simpson. The Juice has reformed his image by becoming a sh*tposter on Twitter. Maybe he can give Cosby some pointers. Bill was already speaking out about national events from inside the slammer. I'm sure the American people, or at the very least us American bloggers, would love to hear what Bill thinks about things.

Whatever Bill Cosby does from here, I'm sure we can all agree on one thing. Eddie Murphy REALLY needs to get back on stage again. This video was him doing five minutes after close to thirty years away from stand-up. He's still one of the best to ever do it.
