Bill Gates goes all in on communist China, claims the country's rise is a 'huge win for the globe'
Earlier this week, everyone's favorite creepy old guy intent on world domination, Bill Gates, praised the rise of China and claimed it's actually good for the world. Who doesn't want the most powerful country to be the one that censors and locks down its citizens while carrying out a not-so-secretive ethnic cleansing?
Gates was speaking at a non-partisan Australian think-tank called "Lowy Institute." He said, “I tend to see China’s rise as a huge win for the world. I mean, that’s 20 percent of humanity. China is a very innovative country, very important, you know, arguably the number two innovator, but the distance [from the US] is unbelievable.”

I don't know about you, but when I think of China, the first word to come to mind is definitely "innovative." Not "genocidal" or "horrifyingly tyrannical." No, no. Their shining feature is definitely their innovation.
To his credit, he did admit that a weakened United States is "scary for the world." But he seemed to miss the correlation between a stronger China and a weaker America, and decried America's low willingness to depend on goods from China.
He also brought up climate change, of course. He said, “Climate change is worth investing in massively because it will get worse and worse over time." This is hilarious because he seems oblivious to the fact that China is one of the worst polluters in the world.
We shouldn't be surprised by Gates', given that this isn't the first time Gates has praised China. Back in 2020, he said China "did a lot of things right at the beginning of the pandemic."

If by "a lot of things right," he means covered up the outbreak, blamed the United States military, miscounted deaths, locked citizens in their homes indefinitely, and probably created the virus itself...then he's spot on!
