There is a whole lotta blame/outrage going around over James Comey being future endeavored by President Trump (see Mark Levin Throws Down on Chuck Schumer for Shameless Comey Hypocrisy and Democrats Rage After Trump Fires Comey). Bill Maher would like to add one oft overlooked name to the list... Bill Clinton.

“A lot of this is because of Bill Clinton.”

“Bill Clinton, once again, f**ked up his wife’s life. If Bill Clinton hadn’t walked on Loretta Lynch’s plane, then she would have been making the statement instead of Comey… That’s where we are. Bill Clinton. Let’s put the blame where it belongs.”

Most people forget this. Bill Clinton basically "invented" James Comey by holding up a tarmac to "ask Loretta Lynch about her family." And if you believe that's what they discussed, you probably also believe Bill and Hillary have a happy marriage. Or that Hillary's not a lesbian. In a parallel universe, If Clinton doesn't get on the former Attorney General's plane, no one knows James Comey even exists. Comey is Bill Clinton's Frankenstein monster.

There isn't a lot of intellectual honesty going around over this brouhaha... and that is on EITHER side. Let's put politics aside for a moment, and take the time to acknowledge that this debacle has been a national embarrassment. Period. Kudos to Bill Maher.
