Normally, when we do a piece on Bill Maher, we're praising him for his sensible take on free speech and Islam. Yeah, this ain't one of them times.

Bill and his panel were discussing the Donald and Billiam made it known he's crossing his fingers and hoping for a recession under our current apricot-tinted president. For reals:

HBO host Bill Maher said Friday that he is "hoping for" an economic collapse because that is the only way the president's opponents can "get rid of Trump."

Maher first asked guest Shermichael Singleton to asses the current economy under President Trump.

"It is going well," Singleton answered. "For now."

"Thank you, that’s my question,” Maher added. “I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point, and by the way, I’m hoping for it."

"I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So please, bring on the recession. Sorry if that hurts people, but it’s either root for a recession or you lose your democracy.”

So, according to Bill, tanking the economy, putting people out of jobs, and ruining their lives is a-okay. A small price to pay if it means getting a guy with a "D" after his name in the Oval Office.

Goes to show those lefties are will to sacrifice anything to jack up taxes, pile on the regulations, and restore America to its "rightful" uncompetitive place. A successful economy under Republican policies is not in their interest.

I can't say I'm surprised to see leftists rooting against America. They're not interested in seeing the U-S-of-A do well if they're not the ones holding the reins. Better to have unemployment lines than to have them proven wrong. Pathetic.
