Every so often, SNL will surprise you (see SNL HILARIOUSLY Mocks the Democratic Party’s ‘Comeback’ and SNL Takes a Dig at Leftist Millennials with Levi’s Commercial Parody…). Sure, they malignantly bash the Trump to no end, but occasionally they'll get things right. That's what happened this weekend, when Bill Murray returned to Studio 8H to lampoon Steve Bannon.

Yes, THAT Bill Murray. One of the greatest living Americans poking fun at one of the not-so-greatest Americans. Enjoy.

Bill, when you die, on your deathbed, may you receive total consciousness. Thank you for blessing us with your comedic genius.

SNL peeps, this is what you should keep doing. This sketch had a little something for everyone. It mocked Joe and Mika. There aren't enough Legos in all of the United States for those two to step on. We saw how quick leftists were to believe anything Michael Wolff claims in "Fire & Fury." There was even a bit on Oprah. And the left's strange new respect for celebrities becoming President.

But mainly, in the words of the Gza, it had Bill "Groundhogs Day, Ghostbusting ass" Murray. Hopefully, this won't be the only time Bill makes an appearance on SNL. Lord knows they could use a good dose of old school comedyness from one of the masters.

This is what good comedy is. Irreverence all around. Nothing is safe. Not even your fellow leftists. Conservatives have no problem letting out the chuckles over SNL's attacks on Trump when the left is also a target. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a new trend for SNL. A free-for-all lampooning that will knock everyone down a peg or two. Even the most sacred of cows.
