Philly has presented a new pride flag which includes brown and black stripes so minority minorities can be validated in their insignificant numbers.

Did you notice something missing from the rainbow flag? That would be "white." Of course, a rainbow doesn't include white, but it also doesn't include brown or black. So clearly we've moved away from actually representing a rainbow and into representing just random people for inclusivity's sake.

Backfired, didn't it? Many in the LGBTQIAAP community responded to this post, beet colored in the facial area. Because as everyone else understood the rainbow flag, it's not literal. A rainbow is a symbol. It's a spectrum. But now it's not. Now it's ruined.

Right. It's a symbol. As in the rainbow flag doesn't represent actual minority groups. It represents the LGBTQAAIP (and growing) community. It's not about race, it's not about what's on the OUTSIDE, it's about what's on the INSIDE.

Jebus. I'm not even part of the LGBTQAAIP (silent F and growing) and I get it.

So what happened? Well as is typical with the left, they over-reached. Someone was sitting in a committee meeting for the meeting of committees and had a thought. Based on the reaction to the new and devolved rainbow flag, the thought came from a place a little south of the navel. Someone wanted to out-"woke" everyone else. Someone wanted to signal their virtue by adding color blocks to a fluttering sheet. They got what they deserved.

Incidentally, the rainbow has been appropriated. The rainbow's original symbol was from God, a promise that He would never destroy the world with a flood. It's also a symbol of man's sin (the reason God flooded the Earth, to begin with). Food for thought.
