There was an incident involving police and a Rochester man five months ago. What we know is that the man was having a mental episode, was put in a "spit hood" after saying he had COVID and kept spitting at the officers, and died of "complications of asphyxia." It hit the news recently after the body cam footage was released. And apparently to help with the investigation, protestors decided to mostly peacefully riot and terrorize people at restaurants.

You have to wonder at this point if there's something more causing these mostly peaceful riots. Because we're going from news report to terrorizing the streets so quickly, I highly doubt half of these people know who they're mostly peacefully rioting over, let alone any details of what happened. Which again, details are light. The mayor of Rochester is a progressive with political ambition, so if she thought she could have scored a single political point throwing the cops under the bus, she probably would have done that months ago. So my gut tells me there's more to the situation we don't know yet.

"Waiting for facts" isn't a place privilege. It should be what we all do. Instead, once the rioting is started by people who are just looking for an excuse to riot — which more and more is turning in to pasty ass white leftists — more and more people stop caring about what set it off in the first place.
