Clinic Refuses Man's Blood Donation Because Man Wouldn't Say if HE Was Pregnant or Not
England is desperate for blood donations. Though, not as desperate as they are to signal the virtue of their wokeness. That's what one 60-year-old blood donor found out when his donation was rejected because he wouldn't say if he was pregnant or not. Yes, he. As in him. As in someone who is not born with a uterus.
Here's what happened. NHS England launched a campaign because they were desperate for blood donations. Inventory has run low due to the pandemic. Leslie Sinclair has been donating for over fifty years. Over 125 pints of this life-saving gift! He stepped up to do his patriotic duty. Or as patriotic as it can be and still living under the Queen's reign.
That's when this sixty-year-old man was asked an odd question. The clinic wanted to know if he was expecting a child or had been pregnant in the past six months. Sinclair thought that was a dumb question because he was a him. The clinic said if he didn't answer, they didn't want his blood. So he left.
According to Daily Mail, all potential donors are asked if they are pregnant to "promote inclusiveness" and because pregnancy is "not always visually clear." But mostly to promote inclusiveness. There are those who have the political belief that men can have babies. They tend to also have the political belief that men born without mammary glands can chestfeed. But Sinclair wasn't asked if he was lactating.
Sinclair said the question is nonsensical. Also, ridiculous. "There are vulnerable people waiting for blood, including children, and in desperate need of help. But they've been denied my blood because of the obligation to answer a question that can't possibly be answered."
The question could be answered. But it's England, and if you answered the question honestly and scientifically you would be arrested for hate speech. The country must not need donations that bad if this is a priority for them.
