A blue drag queen testified in front of the Missouri House to voice his opposition against a proposed bill that would ban drag shows for kids. Because as a blue drag queen, this man thinks you should be taking parenting advice from him.

I doubt many people would trust someone who looks like this around children but clearly, he tried to present himself in a way where he would be taken very, very seriously.

Just imagine what people would have thought in the year 1950 had they walked into the hearing and seen that thing. I don’t think describing how horrified people would be is possible.

According to the proposed legislation, the bill defines "adult cabaret performance" and “creates the offense of engaging in an adult cabaret performance, which is a class A misdemeanor for a first offense and a class E felony for a second or subsequent offense. A person commits the offense of engaging in an adult cabaret performance if the performance is on public property or is in a location where the performance could be viewed by a child.”

An adult cabaret is “a nightclub, bar, restaurant, or similar establishment in which 3 persons regularly appear in a state of nudity or seminudity in the performance of their duties."

An adult cabaret performance is “a performance that appeals to a prurient interest in a location other than an adult cabaret that features topless dancers, go-go dancers, exotic dancers, strippers, male or female impersonators who provide entertainment, or similar entertainers, regardless of whether performed for consideration,” according to the bill.

You would expect that no one would think this is the least bit controversial. But either the people upset have not even cared to look at the bill, or they want adults to “appear in a state of nudity or seminudity in the performance of their duties.” But let’s just hope these people are painfully naive rather than abhorrently evil and deranged.

According to the blue drag queen, this is "white supremacist" and "transphobic.” He also said that the bill would "eradicate gender nonconforming people from the public square" and called Rep. Mazzie Christensen an "uncultured individual who hasn't actually been to a drag show."

Firstly, the lack of self-awareness is comical considering he is the epiphany of “uncultured” and there is nothing “cultured” about a drag show.

It is also unclear what this lunatic means when he claims this bill is homophobic and would “eradicate gender non-conforming people from the public square” because were he actually to read the text, he would know that that has nothing to do with this proposed legislation.

On top of that, this bill criminalizes nude or semi-nude workers who perform in front of children. So to equate that predatory behavior to something inherent in “homosexuals” is the most “homophobic” thing I have ever heard.

The drag queen also said a bunch of “straight phobic” slurs about heterosexual people and could not be any more obvious about his blatant bigotry towards the majority of the population.

He went on to say that “straight people” put these laws out because of their “own gender dysphoria” of “not feeling man enough or not feeling woman enough.”

Which makes no sense but I digress.

The amount of asinine things this blue drag queen said is impossible to count. But one of the worst statements he made was probably claiming that a "child is a socially contingent thing.” Which he said when referring to the difference between an adult and someone under the age of 14. And if he meant what we are all thinking he met, that is pure evil.

Anyway, all I have left to say is the following:
