Top officials at the biggest police union in the country are upset with Hillary Clinton, saying she snubbed them.

The leader of the National Fraternal Order of Police told The Hill that the Democrat sent a signal through her staff that she wouldn’t be seeking the union’s endorsement.

"It sends a powerful message. To be honest with you, I was disappointed and shocked," said Chuck Canterbury, the president of the National Fraternal Order of Police.

"You would think with law enforcement issues so much in the news that even if she had disagreements with our positions, that she would’ve been willing to say that."

Clinton’s opponent, Donald Trump, is now actively seeking the union’s support as he trumpets a “law and order” message on the campaign tail.

This doesn't even make sense politically. Let's say for sake of argument that this is about #BlackLivesMatter (which it totally is). Trump is currently polling at 1% among black voters. How much support does Hillary think she could possibly lose by openly supporting police? Compare those metrics with the middle of the road voters, many of whom don't like either candidate, who are going to see this as an open-handed slap to police all throughout the country?

Hillary Clinton is many things, but politically incompetent is not one of them. Which is what makes this all the more curious. Because if it isn't a decision simply made out of political expediency, it would by default, have to be a value-based decision. Meaning that somewhere, deep down in her barren soul, Hillary seems to have a surprising passion for... hating cops? Or something?

Eh. Probably not. Maybe she just had another seizure. Nobody knows anymore.
