Woke Idaho mayor flies gay pride battle flag, defies law that only normal flags be flown over government buildings
A new Idaho law banned unauthorized flags on public property. However, Boise Mayor Lauren McLean does not care about the state law and is proudly waving a pride flag at City Hall.

According to KTBV:
The Pride flag outside Boise City Hall will continue to fly, as Mayor Lauren McLean reaffirmed her stance in a letter to the Idaho Attorney General, which suggests possible legal action if he persists.
The problem with flying the pride flag is that it’s a symbol dedicated to excluding the majority of the population. So, while she may think this is the inclusive and compassionate thing to do, it’s actually the most exclusive thing one could ever imagine.
McLean's two-page letter to Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador addressed his April 15 request to remove two flags outside Boise City Hall after a new state law banned unauthorized flags on public buildings.
The Pride flag is restricted by House Bill 96, which became law immediately after Gov. Brad Little's signature, and it allows only government property to fly a specific list that includes the U.S. flag, state flag, military flags and official school flags.
There really is no reason why a government entity needs to fly anything not related to "the U.S. flag, state flag, military flags, and official school flags."
"We believe that it is not enforceable as drafted, and that if the State of Idaho seeks to impose civil or criminal penalties, it will be acting in bad faith," McLean wrote. "In turn, the City of Boise will take appropriate legal and political steps to stand up for members of our community."
The fact that she’s dedicated all this time to fighting radical culture wars tells you all you need to know about her.
Boise Mayor Lauren McLean says she’ll keep displaying the pride flag on government property even though Idaho has passed a law banning that.
Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 96 into law letting only certain flags be displayed by government entities.

If she claims she welcomes everyone, then why is she so desperate to fly a flag that barely represents a fraction of residents? So, while she claims she's focused on the people of Boise, her actions speak louder than words.
I’m also struggling to see how this clown show she’s created does anything to represent the people she claims to fight for. Then again, it’s evident that she does not intend to use her position for anything productive. Maybe one day the city will have a mayor who actually fights for its residents—but until then, this is what they’re stuck with.
