Nigeria's Boko Haram, Islamic terrorist group and al-Qaeda affiliate, has kidnapped young girls for years. By now we're familiar with how much Muslim extremists prefer kids as a weapon of choice (Palestinian Toddler Taught To Spill Jewish Blood). So it's not surprising that Boko Haram sent a teenage girl to suicide bomb a nearby refugee camp. What is surprising is that she refused to do it. #BringOurGirlsBack suddenly takes on new meaning, doesn't it?

Strapped with a booby-trapped vest and sent by the extremist Boko Haram group to kill as many people as possible, a young teenage girl tore off the explosives and fled as soon as she was out of sight of her handlers. Later found by local self-defence forces, the girl's tearful account is one of the first indications that at least some of the child bombers used by Boko Haram are aware that they are about to die and kill others.

This girl was fortunate that her refusal led to rescue instead of more harm. Other captives sent on similar missions met a much more explosive fate.

Her two companions, however, completed their grisly missions earlier this week and walked into a crowd of hundreds at Dikwa refugee camp in northeast Nigeria and blew themselves up, killing 58 people. The girl tried to persuade her companions to abandon the mission, "but she said she could not convince the two others to change their minds."

Remember how the left has been denying any connection between Islam and terrorism and continues to deny it? #NotAllMuslims. Except kind of. You never see the media touting suicide bombings performed by non-Muslims. Because it's not happening. They have a perfect record when it comes to jihad. Obviously not all Muslims are terrorists hellbent on blowing themselves up and killing everyone else for the sake of martyrdom. But most, if not dangerously close to all suicide bombers are Muslim. #Facts

We're being told we can't engage in anything that may be deemed as anti-Muslim speech (Attorney General Loretta Lynch Wants to Prosecute 'Anti-Islamic' Speech) because it might hurt feelings. Being blown up into a million pieces hurts more. The duration of the hurt just doesn't last as long. Gives new meaning to "losing your head."

Yes, threatening someone is kind of a no-no, but defending yourself is not. Especially when defending yourself from someone who might blow you up, or from blowing up yourself. What's harmful is not being allowed to address the real grievances of Islam because someone wants to spare feelings instead of lives. This girl who wouldn't be a suicide bomber is proof of the dangerous foe we face. They're strapping bombs to children, then convincing these children to blow themselves up. To fight them, many in the Western World start hashtags.

But what about stating facts? What if statistics don't favor a certain group because said group is predisposed towards chopping off heads and making things explode? Often young children? The left's answer: ignore the statistics. Lump all religions together. Start an inclusive hashtag trend on Twitter and hope for the best.

And no, Islam is not the same as Christianity. Stop saying it is. In fact the idea of "moderate Islam" is pretty silly, too.
