Here's a warm and fuzzy story for you. An armed robber in North Charleston, South Carolina chose a waffle house, where they serve comfort food made carbs and sugar without apologies, and got his eggs cooked and served by a conceal carry holder. From The Daily Caller:

The customer, who remains unidentified, opened fire on the armed suspect around 5 a.m. Saturday morning. The suspect, who police have also not named, was rushed to the hospital where he died from his wounds.

The customer’s decision to use force drew praise from employees. “He saved us, that’s what he did,” a Waffle House employee said.

One police officer on the scene speaking on the condition of anonymity said the customer’s actions are an example of how guns in the right hands can save people, saying, “It’s says something about firearms, for good people with firearms being in the right hands.”

A good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun and saved everyone's bacon in the process. Which, by the way, is kind of how bad guys are stopped: good guys...with guns. Bacon helps.

Could this have been a mass shooting? Well thanks to our early bird diner who was locked and loaded and probably well-caffinated, we'll thankfully never know. Of course we won't hear from The White House, Amy Schumer, nor will we have any syrupy speeches or PSAs about how concealed carry holders save lives. Doesn't fit the narrative.
