Boston's Woke Mayor: Every HUMAN On Earth Has A 'Legal Right' To US Residency. Yes, Even The Illegal Ones
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has taken the phrase “No Human is Illegal” to a whole new level. She basically said that every human on earth has a legal right to reside in the United States. Yes, all 7.8 billion of them.
However, although she did not specifically say this, I think it is safe to say she does not mean every singleperson in the world. Considering her track record with the “electeds of color” party, I would not be surprised if the only illegal humans are those without a “colored” skin tone. You know, because of equity or something like that.
According to The Post Millennial:
“Footage has reemerged of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu claiming earlier last year that every human being on Earth has the "legal right" to come to the United States in search of asylum or shelter.
In the months since, Massachusetts' emergency shelter system has struggled to keep up with demand as illegal migrants continue to seek refuge in Beantown and other sanctuary cities across the state.
‘We really have been experiencing, as every city across the country [is], a crisis when it comes to migrant families who are a little bit stuck in limbo,’ Wu said during an appearance on Boston Public Radio in May when pressed on the issue.
‘Every person, every human being has the legal right to come to the United States and seek asylum or shelter,’ she continued, "but when the review of that individual's particular situation and the decision to allow the pathway to stay and the work authorization that comes with that, when that process is so drawn out, people are stuck.’”
None of that made sense. I know that. And you know that. The fact that she claims people are "stuck" sounds nothing more than what we call a "personal problem."
Do US citizens also have a right to live in other countries?
I think we all know the answer to that.
Wu is about as progressive as it gets. Which means she is not the brightest crayon in the box. And because of that, she spits out all these woke euphemisms, that don't even make sense, to come across as the "compassionate" one while she actively promotes segregation.
Who benefits exactly if every human in the world has a right to US residency? Well, it is not the people in Boston who elected her to represent them.
It sounds like Wu is a bit confused. She is not the Mayor of the world, she is the Mayor of Boston. So maybe it would be best if focused on things at the local level.
But that is not what progressives do. They would much rather ruin the cities they call home as long as they get their virtue-signaling points.
Sorry to all the woke mayors, but there is no human right to live in America. Why is that so hard for these people to understand? This should not be controversial.
I guess to progressives, as long as no human is illegal, when at least the colored humans, then that is all that matters.
