Fake Twitter accounts, or "bots" as they are known, have been in the news. There is a whole lawsuit and everything. You would have to be pretty desperate to fluff your brand using a bot farm today. In a related story, Joe Biden is the least popular president in U.S. history. So much so, even his own political party wants him to go away forever. The sleuths at Twitchy found it odd that, out of the blue, there sure are a lot of "honest US citizens" coming to Biden's defense on the bird app.

It started with @POTUS tweeting, "You can’t be pro-police and pro-insurrection."

Why yes, this IS the same @POTUS account whose users are fifty percent fake. Thank you for paying attention! Someone responded to the tweet that they were looking forward to the ratio. That's when this honest US citizen had some thoughts to share.

"Honest US citizen here, I don't get why many people hate Biden. I think he's one of the best presidents in the country right now. He needs time to do this. We should back him and trust the process. We can do this! Let's go US!"

That doesn't sound like how any U.S. citizen, honest or otherwise, talks. Neither do any of these honest U.S. citizens who have the same thing to say verbatim.

You'd have to be an idiot who is really bad at your job to think this would work. Or someone who confuses Twitter with the real world. As we've discussed, only 20% of Americans use Twitter and only 20% OF that 20% actually send tweets.

There is no evidence the White House is behind this. I'd like to think that as incompetent as even they are, they are smart enough to know they wouldn't get away with something so pathetic. But someone is running a bot farm on Ol' Puddinghead's behalf and legit thinks they are helping. And THAT'S hilarious.
