There are numerous problems leading to the decline of Western civilization. One of those problems is the inability of parents to raise their children with any semblance of morals. Secular, leftist education doesn't help that issue, either. So, forgive me if I'm not surprised when videos like this one start to make their rounds on social media.

According to 12News, the video depicts a group of boys in a restroom at West Brook High School in which "one teen can be seen punching another boy." Yes, AFTER he gets his head rammed into the wall.

I, too, wonder if this will be investigated as a hate crime. Students get raked over the coals and charged for stupid things like misgendering other students, for Christ's sake. I seriously doubt this beatdown will be taken as seriously.

However, 12News does state that the police and the Beaumont Independent School District are currently investigating the incident. They have already identified the students who "participat[ed]" in the "altercation." I didn't see participation as much as I saw one kid beating the piss out of another kid. And I didn't see an altercation as much as assault and battery. Frankly, if the little punk isn't charged accordingly, I'll be pretty pissed.

The district issued a statement to 12News, saying, "disciplinary actions have been taken to the fullest extent." Adding, "This behavior is unacceptable and these acts of violence displayed will not be tolerated."

The fullest extent needs to include locking that little punk in a juvenile detention center. That's it. Done. Anything short of that is unacceptable.
