It's been a long, daunting few weeks of left-wing dumbassery but, nevertheless, he persisted. The Senate held their vote and formally confirmed Brett. Though, not without a whole buttload of leftist squealing.

The Senate confirmed Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court Saturday afternoon, securing a conservative majority on the nation’s highest judicial tribunal.

Kavanaugh’s confirmation concludes an agonizing nomination process, which in stretches pertained as much to visceral feelings about identity, violence and fairness as to the high court.

The final vote was 50 to 48. GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, the lone Republican to oppose Kavanaugh, voted “present,” ensuring the other absent lawmaker, GOP Sen. Steve Daines of Montana, would not have to leave his daughter’s wedding in Bozeman to cast a decisive vote for the judge.

Now, the only question is gauging the intensity of the incoming leftist butthurt. Obviously, the Republicans are now the "anti-woman party." Feminists are even more steadfast in their insistence that rape culture is a thing. Race-baiters all across the land will lament the persistence of honky male privilege. The only thing left to ponder is whether the "resistance" will be of a "scream at the sky" variety or a mass tantrum of property damage. Probably a bit of both.

The left has tried every trick in their playbook to discredit Kavanaugh. Every one of them has been a failure. No amount of trickery is going to make us label somebody a rapist with zero evidence. Perhaps next time the left will try a better tactic than sensationalism and lying. Maybe something like winning elections. Though, I doubt it.
