A few days ago, it was announced that CNN’s streaming service was dead, and the media company is planning to pull the plug at the end of the month. While the country poked jokes at the epic failure, others asked for civility. And yet, others still haven’t come to grips with the reality of the failure. This third group includes Brian Stelter, who coincidently, is also in denial of his sexuality.

From the Daily Caller, The soon-to-be-former CNN+ host and effeminate potato Brian Stelter had Matthew Belloni on his show, where he proceeded to wrestle with the first stage of grief: denial.

Stelter feeds Belloni a theory: CNN+ didn’t fail because it was completely unpopular. It didn’t fail because only the most radical of ideologues actually trusts the information being put out on CNN. It certainly didn’t fail because they handed Stelter another show… Even though his ratings on the company’s cable network are less than that of “Golden Girls” reruns.

No, it wasn’t any of that. It’s just that the new management wanted to go a different way… The new management—the people responsible for making the network profitable—trashed a subscription-based streaming service the company had dumped hundreds of millions of dollars into just because they felt like going in a different direction…

Forgive me if this line of thinking is impossible to take seriously. But then, it came from the mashed potato brain of Brian Stelter, so what else did we expect.

Stelter might be the worst CNN has to offer, and it makes me laugh he’s literally attempting to rationalize the failure of a show presently slated to be tossed into the trash bin in a matter of a week.

Even funnier, however, is that as the network continues to go in a different direction, Stelter’s fate is in limbo. Is he going to be fired? Is he going to stay? Is he going to get a new show? Rumors are what we have to go on right now, but eventually, something has to happen.

I’m prepared to watch him get canned and try to start his own YouTube channel.
