The whole trans ideology revolves around the foolish claim that sex and gender are two different things and that gender is how one presents themselves to the world. So even if the whole gender bender stuff was true, it's not but even if it was, the ideology has still established biology is a thing. Thus, sports should always pertain to sex and not an ambiguous and inconsistent feeling that no one can describe.
But just like every asinine cause progressives make up in the hope of getting society to their naive utopia, the movement keeps moving further off the deep end. Thus, we went from SeX aNd GeNdEr ArE dIfFeReNt to TrAnS wOmEn ArE wOmEn. And because the left is so beholden to their fake identity politics, female sports leagues are slowly being destroyed.
There is no debate that trans women, aka males, have an unfair advantage when competing with girls. In protest of society's denial of this blatant fact, several girls have refused to compete against their trans competitors at a track & field meet.
On Thursday, several girls "stepped out" during a meet to protest the inclusion of the transgender girl at the center of this case.
The athlete in the case competes for the Bridgeport Middle School girls' track & field team in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
Bridgeport participated in the 2024 Harrison County Middle School Championships on Thursday afternoon at Liberty High School in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Seven schools comprised the meet: Bridgeport, Heritage Christian, Notre Dame, South Harrison, Lincoln, Mountaineer (Clarksburg) and Washington Irving.
Several members of one of the girls' shot put teams "stepped in" then "stepped out" to protest the inclusion of a transgender athlete in the meet. The transgender athlete competes in both shot put and discus throwing.
When each of the Lincoln girls had her name called to compete, she stepped into the ring but instead of throwing the shot, she stepped down and refused to participate. They did the same for the discus event.
According to one of the girls who stepped out, the transgender athlete won the shot put event during the Championships.
The left will tell you that a boy competing against girls is "brave." But it's not. It's pathetic, cowardly, and cheating. What these girls did is actually brave.
Competing in the championships means that these girls have likely dedicated a lot of time and energy to this sport. But all that is being taken away from them because someone who was too awful to make it on the guy's team cheated his way into the meet based on an indescribable feeling.
Sorry, but feelings don't dictate the fairness of the game.
As girls' sports inch closer and closer to the finish line of destruction, these sorts of protests will become increasingly more common. But no one should give up equality for the sake of being inclusive. Because it does not take a brain surgeon to know that you can only be inclusive by being exclusive.
