Law enforcement reportedly visited Britney Spears Wednesday after she posted a disturbing video showing her dancing with two giant butcher knives, which made many fans concerned about her mental stability.

The singer twirled around holding two large knives while wearing a crop top and bikini bottoms.

The video, which she shared on Instagram, prompted concern, and the Ventura County Sheriff's Department conducted a welfare check on her, according to TMZ.

Upon officers arriving, they spoke with the singer's security who assured them she was alright, but didn't want to speak.

Her attorney later called the department, asking about the visit. They assured him they only made the visit because the call was made by someone who knew Britney as they don't conduct welfare checks for fan calls.

Spears shared the dancing video, writing, "I started playing in the kitchen with knives today !!! Don't worry they are NOT real knives !!!!"

However, fans were concerned because the knives made the typical sound you hear when she hit them together.

She responded to the backlash and concerns by defending herself in a follow-up post, writing, “Lighten up about the knives” because she was just “copying Shakira.”

In a later post, fans noticed she had a bandage on her arm and had a gash on her leg as she was no longer dancing with the knives.

The video freaked some fans out so bad that they were commenting concerns for her dogs.

“Those poor dogs just ran scared they need to be rescued and she needs HELP,” one response said. Another added, “The knives made a clunking noises. They’re clearly real. Real enough to fall on and kill one of those poor worried pups.”

“The debate is over,” one person wrote. “Britney Spears is insane and can’t take care of herself. At this point, we even have to ask if she could be a danger to others. For a year, she’s been dancing incessantly in the exact same spot, and now she’s even waving knives around.”

But as always, some fans were there to defend her as they refuse to deny anything is wrong with the pop star.

One wrote: “Shakira did this in front of millions yet not one person said s–t, this isn't a big deal, it’s literally fake knives.” Another agreed: “Look at her form in this video! She’s not going to hurt anyone.”

The whole “Free Britney” movement was so dumb. Fan knew nothing about the situation and the mob essentially forced the courts to overturn an arguably, much needed conservatorship

This woman claims literally EVERY SINGLE person in her life victimizes her. Every single one. This includes her father, sister, kids, ex husbands (plural), and just about everyone else.

But for some reason, everyone jumps on the Free Britney bandwagon.

It is honestly so embarrassing.

She is narcissistic and mentally unstable. Which is shown in her video as she is practically nude dancing hibachi style with her creepy and lifeless eyes.

Normal people don't do that.

But one thing is for sure, she is definitely the poster child for a child star gone wrong.
