Lesson learned? Bud Light attempts to mock wokeness with this new Shane Gillis commercial
So while Jaguar is doubling down, Bud Light may or may not have learned its lesson and has released its newest, anti-woke commercial.
WATCH: Bud Light just released this hilarious new ad with Shane Gillis.
This is the second commercial they've done with Shane in the last few months.

Eh. I give it a B for effort because it was unclear whether or not they were trying to play both sides but at least they were trying.
I like this one better.

This is likely the first of many Bud Light commercials we'll see with Shane through the rest of football season.

It’s unclear if Bud Light will make a comeback worthy of redefining itself back to its old glory but brands should take note of what not to do when it comes to embracing wokeness, which Jaguar did not. So while Bud Light attempts to regain consumer support, Jaguar is doubling down.
That this advert seems so dated already certainly gives credence to the view that the woke movement is in sharp decline… pic.twitter.com/EWAZ5m3KuW

It's unclear how the company can pivot into woke darkness this late in the game, as it's proven to be disastrous time and time again.
Jaguar is being slammed for going woke by pushing DEI in new advert.
Last year, Jaguar brand executive Santino Pietrosanti revealed the brand was committed to DEI:
“At Jaguar…we’re committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive and united culture.”

Bud Light's shares increased by 14 percent over the last year. So the saying checks out, "When you go woke, you go broke." However, Jaguar would like to learn the hard way and decided to put DEI over profit, which does not sound like the best business move.
