I’d hate to say, “I told you so,” but we’ve kind of been sounding the alarm about the fascist tendencies of our own government for a little while now. The developments in places like France, Australia, and Germany should have made everyone a little more sensitive to totalitarianism on our own soil. Especially when the evidence really starts to pile up.

And one could see this coming. Fauci doesn’t respect American liberty, and neither do his acolytes on the left. Democrat-run cities have been stripping citizens of their freedom since the beginning of the pandemic and, in truth, long before COVID was a thing.

So, this shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, as NYPD officers arrest American citizens for failing to show their papers.

The protesters had been outside the office of Mayor-Elect Eric Adams calling for an end to the COVID mandates before going to a Burger King where they were denied service for failing to provide proof of vaccination, in accordance with the mandates enacted by DeBlasio.

As reported by the Post Millennial, “the NYPD responded and informed that that [sic] if they did not leave, they would be arrested. Several were taken out in cuffs and reportedly charged with criminal trespass.”

I predict 2022 will be the Year of the Despot unless the people start standing up for their rights as citizens of this country, as well as the citizens of other nations whose governments have decided to crush them with the grip of dictatorial COVID measures.
