Burgess Owens is a freshman congressman from Utah. He's a conservative. He also, for the sake of this blog post, has more melanin in his skin than your average mayonnaise-looking white liberal. The same white liberals who like to racesplain to people they charge with being CWB: Conservative While Black. There has been a lot of it with the extreme left's push to nationalize elections. If you think there should be ANY rules or proof of identification in order to vote, you are literally no different from Jim Crow. But really, if you disagree with the left on anything, they call you racist.

Rep. Owens, you can imagine, is not amused by this. He suggested on Twitter that if you want to study actual racism, study the history of gun control. A white liberal (judging by his Twitter photo) was quick to jump in with the racesplaining, "Ackchually, having to show voter ID is what's really racist." Yeah, no. The dude actually called Owens "pro-racist."

You know what's racist? Assuming because I'm black that "I just don't have the capability of getting an I-D." Disclaimer: We are capable of getting and I-D (and even using the internet!).

Ohhai, Joe Biden. He's talking about you.

I use my I.D. to drive a car, to get a job, to board a plane, pick up prescriptions, and virtually everything else in life... So tell me again, why is showing an I.D. "voter suppression"?

Something else you need an ID for? Getting that shot in your arm the commander-in-grief claims you need to get your life back. Notice how it's not racist to say you need an ID to get the 'rona vaccine, though somehow is racist to show an ID to vote for the guy who says you need the 'rona vaccine.

Rep. Owens is right. Any time liberals claim that it's racist to expect someone to show an ID to vote -- when you need to show an ID for literally everything else -- what they're really saying is that they don't think minorities have the ability to get an ID on their own, even if it's a non-driver's license. Conservatives feel that all Americans have the ability to get an ID if it means participating in the most important job they have as Americans. It's one of the many difference between us and them.
