Progressives think they know better than everyone else, so much so that they believe they can dictate how far you stand next to other people. But it’s not every day that these people claim to have been given powers from God that allow them to cure cancer.

Cori Bush went on PBS to discuss her autobiography that no one bought. In that interview, she claimed, with a straight face, that she cured cancer by touching a woman's tumors and that God gave her the ability to perform miracles.

While the interviewer affirmed Cori’s truth, Bush stopped short of explaining why she has yet to cure any miracles in Congress or why she has yet to accomplish anything she promised, if she can cure cancer.

According to the New York Post:

Far-left Squad member Rep. Cori Bush performed multiple miracles as a religious faith healer, according to her autobiography.

“As I learned how to apply God’s Word to my life in new ways, I better understood the power that was already residing in me,” Bush wrote of her abilities in “The Forerunner: A Story of Pain and Perseverance in America.”

“It was there, waiting for me to acknowledge it, to use it. I had the confidence to heal others with God’s power.”
In another instance, Bush claimed she cured a woman racked with tumors.

“One woman whom we met had several visible tumors on her torso. She was due to have surgery but lacked health insurance and living in the park. One of the tumors was particularly painful to her. I laid hands on her and prayed, and I felt that my hand was no longer touching a tumor. It shrank along with the others on her body.

We all know that a requirement of joining “the squad” is to be mentally incompetent and clinically retarded. But even Bush has reached an unfathomable level with these claims.

Who are these people she cured and where is the evidence? And if she can cure cancer why has she not saved the environment yet or cured racism? Why is she still pretending to care about those things if she can combat disease with her physical touch?

Progressives live in La La Land, that’s a fact. That’s why they believe things that are not true, like prosecuting crime have nothing to do with recidivism. But this is probably the first congress member I have seen claim to be given Jesus-like powers with a straight face.

It really is hard to tell if she is so stupid she believes that crap or if she believes Americans are so stupid they believe that crap. I am having a hard time believing that even the people who voted for her would believe that.

What's next? Walking on water?

The cringe level is unfathomable.

This is the level of competence we have running this country. This is the best voters could do in her district. But I guess no one should be surprised by this considering this is a woman who believes men can get pregnant.
