California prides itself on being the illegal immigration capital of Los Estados Unidos (see California Appoints First Illegal Immigrant to Government Job and California Assemblyman: Deny Tax Breaks to Companies Building Trump’s Wall). Even people running for President of Mexico campaign there. No, seriously. There may be more illegals in California than pedophiles in Hollywood. More illegals in California than pork in the 2018 Omnibus. You're getting the picture.

Trump wants the 2020 census to count actual citizens. As in people here legally. This is of course problematic for California, where the illegal immigrant industry is thriving. So of course, the Attorney General is suing.

Commerce said in a news release issued Monday night that the citizenship data will help the Justice Department enforce the Voting Rights Act, which protects minority voting rights.

But opponents say the question will discourage immigrants...

You mean ILLEGAL immigrants.

...from responding to the census. A coalition of state attorneys general urged the Commerce Department last month to not add such a question, saying it could lower participation among immigrants and cause a population undercount.

California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra said the state would sue the Trump administration over its decision to add the citizenship question.

"We're prepared to do what we must to protect California from a deficient census," he said. "Including a citizenship question on the 2020 census is not just a bad idea — it is illegal."

California's population numbers count because the more people they have, the more votes they get in the United States House of Representatives. If their numbers dip, California doesn't get as many Representatives in the House. You see the problem?

Now, I'm not an attorney. I don't even play one on Twitter. If you have ".ESQ" after your last name, feel free to correct me in the comment section. But I have a hard time believing the US census having an accurate count of US citizens is worthy of a lawsuit temper tantrum. If you ask your child to take an accurate count of his crayons, he can't sue you over excluding his sharpies. It was the best analogy I could come up with. Sue me.

California is the nation's capital of screwing its own people. The same state which says misgendering someone is worse than transmitting AIDS. No, seriously.

Illegals counting toward the US census is cheating. It's cheating the rest of the country out of their right to represent themselves in the nation's capital. California wants to use their illegal aliens to screw not only other Californians, but every other American.

And they're suing for it.
