Cain Velasquez has spoken out for the first time since his arrest. The former UFC Champion is facing a life sentence for attempted first-degree murder.

A daycare worker had allegedly molested Cain's 4-year-old daughter multiple times. When I say multiple times, it may have been UP TO A HUNDRED. Cain fired a gun at him while he was in his car, but accidentally hit the man's father. The man is fine. Cain is in prison. The (alleged) molester gets to walk the streets of California. Because ... it's California.

Another Twitter user translated his statement.

"To everyone that has expressed your support, my family and I will never be able to thank you enough. From the bottom of our hearts and the depths of our souls, we are forever grateful for your love. Your selfless gestures and kindled words have given me strength in my darkest times. This story is complex and slowly unraveling as we speak."

I hope it unravels to the point Cain is released from jail and free to hunt the scumbag who (allegedly) molested his daughter, rip his dick off, and make him choke on it. Just as long as he doesn't use a gun this time. That was where, I believe, he ran into a problem. In California, they hate guns more than they hate pedophiles. Had Velasquez just beaten the sh*t out of the guy, things might be different.

The unraveling might also have to do with the second part of his statement. It sounds like there are other victims of this (alleged) child molester. An alleged child molester who did work at a daycare. Not sure if I mentioned that.

"To the true victims of this case, may God give you the strength to come forward. Though it is most difficult to relive the pain that has happened to you, in speaking the truth, justice will be served and your own true healing will start."

We'll see how this story continues to unfold. For now, continue to pray for the victims and that the REAL villains in this story face justice. Legal or street. I don't have a preference.
