Okay, OBVIOUSLY this is not the real Santa Claus. Santa is busy in December. He can't sneak off to California in his pickup to buy bananas. He's got elves to do that. Our friend here merely shares Santa characteristics. We'll call him Sam T. Claus. Sam has some things to say about Democrats.

He doesn't like them. They're stupid. And their ideas are not very good.

Dumb ideas like California mandating all cars be electric.

"People say, 'Oh, we're saving the environment.' Guess what? All electricity comes from somewhere. And if every one of these cars was powered by electricity, in California they have rolling blackouts. Can you imagine? They'd have rolling blackouts where every body couldn't drive their car. Wouldn't that be a thrill?"

Californians had a glimpse into the future last year. California Governor Gavin Newsom told citizens to only set thermostats to 78 degrees or higher, turn off unnecessary lights and avoid using large appliances and charging electric vehicles. Immediately after doing this, Tesla SENT A MESSAGE DIRECTLY TO ALL TESLA CARS on behalf of the California government telling them to do the same. My gas-powered Nissan doesn't send me propaganda. Just sayin'.

When [Democrats] say we're going to take away your gas stove? That's stupid. We're not going to do that ever. When they say all these dumb ideas that aren't good for people and aren't good for kids, I'm against it."

The gas stove thing was a classic moment of 2023 journalisming.

January 9th - Bloomberg writes that the Biden admin is considering a ban on gas stoves. The Washington Post creates two pieces of content proclaiming of course the Biden admin should ban gas stoves. Only anti-science Republicans would say otherwise.

January 10th - The Biden Admin denies they are considering banning gas stoves.

January 11th - The Washington Post creates two new pieces of content on how ridiculous it was to think Biden would ban gas stoves, and only idiot Republicans would believe such fake news.

January 12th - Democrat governors started banning gas stoves.

Preach on, Sam T. Claus. The youth of this generation needs your wisdom.
