A massive fire started in California recently. Turns out the douchenozzle who started it was an illegal immigrant with priors. Aaand the government had multiple chances to deport him. But they didn't, because illegals deserve to get a fair shot (The Atlantic Goes Full Moron: 'Give All Illegals Affordable or Free College NOW!'). They have hopes and dreams too. Of burning people to death, apparently.

Johnny Sanchez was initially arrested in 2012 for crossing the southeastern California border illegally... Authorities released him because he had no criminal history or previous violations at the time. He was arrested again in January on suspicion of domestic violence and twice on suspicion of drug possession.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement never started the process of deporting him, spokeswoman Virgina Kice said, adding that the reason why was unclear. She told the newspaper it's ICE policy "to focus on individuals who pose a public safety threat." [Monday] Sanchez was in some kind of fight with others and lit the fire with the intent to kill. [He] was charged Wednesday with five capital murder counts...

Looks like ICE is terrible at doing the thing they set out to do. You could say this guy posed a pretty big threat to public safety, right? Using fire to kill people tends to put you in that boat. Just not the boat that sends you back to your country.
