Yet the NRA features a gun activist who is a part of the trans-community, and they completely lash out. Let's look at California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom for example...

Mr. Newsom posted a meme by the Coalition for Civil Liberties featuring a woman named Nicki Stallard, asking, “If Gavin Newsom gets this passed, how will transgender women like me be able to protect ourselves?”

The meme is in reference to Mr. Newsom’s “Safety for All” initiative to require background checks for ammunition.

“The NRA group in California is using the Trans community to fight our common sense gun safety initiative,” Mr. Newsom wrote Friday in response to meme. “Using the Trans community to fight their battle of lies is arguably one of the most disgusting things they’ve ever done.”

I see.

So, to recap, it's totally okay for leftists to use the trans community to further their agenda. But the NRA pointing out the Second Amendment is for everyone? Including men who identify as women? That's a bridge too far. I'm curious what Newsom thinks about black, latino, or gay NRA members.

Because there's a gay gun rights group that would like a word with him on the matter.

None of this should come as a surprise, of course. The left wants minorities or "victim" groups to always be victim groups. Specifically their victim groups. If a black man is a Republican? He's thrown under the bus, sometimes called a racist. Remember how the media treated Ben Carson? That's what you get when you break ranks. Similarly, feminists will call non-feminist, conservative women traitors to the cause, or "internal mysoginists" because they're not following the victim party line. Now a shot across the bow has been issued to the trans community: you're to espouse leftists causes only, or else.
