California is a raging pit of leftist hell fire (see CALIFORNIA: Universities to Give Millions in Financial Aid... to Illegal Immigrants). So naturally it's one of the more hot and dry states. The left blames this hotness on climate change. It's totes not because the state is the den of Hades or anything. Turns out the skies took pity on California and blessed it with a nice swath of rainfall - enough to break the dry spell for at least a quarter of the entire state...

A heavy dousing of Autumn rain in Northern California has listed a quarter of the state out of [a five-year] drought, the highest percentage [of rain] in more than three years, according to a new federal report.

October brought heavy rains in Northern California, including the second-wettest October on record for the northern Sierras, the source for much of the state's water.

Weekly national report by the U.S. Drought Monitor showed 12% of the state had normal or better moisture. The last time readings were this good was March 2013.

Of course, this brings up a bigger issue, on which climate changers have made nary a peep. One might think California would be a shriveled raisin of hot death thanks to "climate change." You know, because climate change scientists say the earth is getting hotter and dryer. But I thought rain and dry stuff didn't go together...

The thing is, climate change scientists have said that global warming would make California's drought worse. Then they changed their minds. Surprise! Climate change scientists tend to change their minds a lot (see FAIL: Scientist That Predicted Ice Caps Would Melt in 2013... Now Claims 2016?). Now they're saying that the added rain is because of it. That pesky global warmingglobal cooling climate change. So hard to predict sometimes.

The good news? Global warming is a farce. One less thing to worry about...
