Progressive Senator Calls To Redefine Child Abuse To Include ‘Not Affirming' Your Child

More gender-bender coercion is expected to come to the Golden State as lawmakers in the Senate passed AB 957 Wednesday, which would require courts to take into account whether a parent "affirms" a child's "gender identity or gender expression" in determining custody.
It has to head back to the Assembly for concurrence on amendments before making its way to Newsolini’s desk to sign.
The bill was proposed by state Senator Scott Wiener, who was also behind lowering the age of consent for gay sex, decriminalizing intentionally infecting someone with AIDS, and turning employees in long-term care facilities into criminals if they “misgender” someone.
This law would require judges to equate “affirmation of child gender transition” directly with a child’s “health, safety, and welfare” when determining custody rights.
Rather than focus on California’s crime spree and zombie drug apocalypse, lawmakers are more concerned with redefining child abuse. A term that was once used for physical injuries or extreme emotional abuse, will now may mean “misgendering” your child.
I think it is probably safe to assume this law will be exploited and used as a weapon in family court. Family court overwhelmingly sides with women. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, fathers made up 20 percent of custodial parents in 2018. How would this prevent crazy liberal women from pretending their child is trans just so she can take custody away from the father?
I would also argue this is OBVIOUSLY a First Amendment violation since the constitution prohibits the government “from making any law ‘respecting an establishment of religion.’ This clause not only forbids the government from establishing an official religion, but also prohibits government actions that unduly favor one religion over another. It also prohibits the government from unduly preferring religion over non-religion, or non-religion over religion.”
Many religions believe a person’s sex is to be valued and affirmed, not rejected. And that sex plays into who we are and is not some arbitrary construct.
Sex also plays into the religious definition of marriage but voters already redefined that so we probably shouldn't hold onto much hope that our constitutional arguments will save the kids here.
And enough with the gaslighting. It is totally abusive to transition a child. Especially when they are very young and don’t understand what gender even is.
But lawmakers insist a three-year-old knows best and if you dare to think otherwise then you are a child abuser.
How would parents even know if their child is ‘transgender?’ Schools are forced to hide that information from parents.
Lawmakers want to make it illegal for you to know what gender your kid wants to be, but it’s also abuse to not know what gender your kid wants to be. I can't belive people actually belive this crap.
