So while Canadians no longer have the right to defend themselves, their government believes Ukrainians do. That is why they are stealing guns from citizens and giving them to the Ukrainian government.

According to The Post Millennial:

Trudeau Liberals have banned an additional 324 firearm varieties in the country and a planned confiscation program will take place to get these weapons from their owners. The government is considering whether to send some of these weapons to Ukraine as the war against Russia continues.

Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc announced Wednesday that there will be an "amnesty period" in which those who possess these now-illegal firearms will be protected from "criminal liability as they take steps to come into compliance with the law." The amnesty period will end in October, 2025.

There will be an "exception" during the amnesty period for indigenous peoples, as well as hunters who use these now-illegal guns to hunt.

Is there a reason why “indigenous peoples” are immune to this law? Is that how they promote equality under the legal system?

"As with the previous list of firearms, these models will, of course, be part of the assault-style firearms compensation program," said LeBlanc. "And, to that end, I’m pleased to point out that the pilot program of phase one of the gun buyback program is now underway. The program will be open for all businesses in the coming days."

How can the government “buy back” firearms it never owned? And are they going to pay the actual value of the weapon? Additionally, why must the government make Canadians more vulnerable so Ukraine can feel more secure? And how can we be certain criminals will fork over firearms and not just the people who follow laws?

Additionally, the term “buyback” is misleading as the seller gets no say in the transaction. They are out of luck if they disagree with the price and are punished if they don’t acquiesce.

Why are Ukrainians more worthy of guns owned by Canadians and how will this help Canada? The government should be doing everything in its power to make citizens feel more secure but it could not even pretend to care about that.

To say Canada is no longer a free country would be an understatement.
