Firing a professor for having the wrong opinion is why Donald Trump happened...wait, we're in Canada. This is actually what Canadians voted for when they elected Justin "I Feel Pretty" Trudeau. So I guess we can't be surprised at the roll out of tolerance, eh?

Seriously, and we thought American schools were ridiculous (see WATCH: ‘Last Man Standing’ Brutally Mocks College Liberals and Mike Rowe: Why Are Tax Dollars Funding Colleges Which Burn the Flag?). But back to Canada.  Where all this tolerance began during an ethics discussion in a law class. The professor mentioned examples of where personal opinion doesn't square with the law. You know, truth and stuff.

“I find abortion to be wrong but the law is often different from our personal opinions.”

A little later, the class had a five-minute break, and when it resumed, several students didn’t return, among them a popular young woman who had gone to an administrator to complain that what the teacher said had “triggered” her such that she felt “unsafe” and that, in any case, he had no right to an opinion on the subject of abortion because he was a man.

Actually, the point was that the professor's personal opinion didn't matter...because the law was the law. But LOL, "details" and "facts" always trump how someone feels. Should've known better.

Immediately after the student complained to the administrator, the teenager came, with a teacher at her side as support, to confront him in a public area of the school. She pressed for an apology, but the teacher resisted, because, he said, it would set a dangerous precedent for a teacher to be reamed out in the presence of a colleague.

“When I didn’t show contrition,” he said, “I was summoned upstairs and grilled by two administrators who told me my job was on the line.”

Demand an apology for saying he has a personal opinion, and that said personal opinion didn't matter? We're talking about sixteen words, only half of which were "offensive."

He apologized specifically to her, but then made what was apparently a fatal error. He said he liked her, that she was a bright and engaging student, and said he’d told her father just that at a recent parent-teacher night. She stormed out of the class in tears, and he was again castigated by his superiors. This time, for having been “too personal” in his apology.

On Nov. 30, he showed up at the school, was retrieved by an administrator and taken to the principal. He was told he “could no longer continue in the classroom.” The school offered a short-term medical disability top-up for employment insurance. He was then escorted down the hall and off the premises.

Fired. For having the wrong opinion. The opinion being he personally believed the systematic slaughter and dismemberment of an unborn child was wrong. Even though Canadian law says otherwise. Monster.

Then not apologizing for it.

The apologizing for his stance on how dismembering an unborn child is wrong, using the wrong words. Double-monster.

But remember, schools are about educating people, fostering the "free exchange of ideas." Unless your idea runs counter to an easily triggered student. Probably who had an abortion and would rather no one tell her the murder of her unborn child was wrong. Just my personal opinion.

Leftists love the idea of firing you for the wrong opinion because they want to control more than your speech. This story proves it. If you hold other view points, you shall be outed. Why else do you think the left, like Justin "Boy Band" Trudeau, cult-worships communist dictators like Fidel Castro? Castro had complete control over his people, hence the left drops down and worships him like a feminist worships a donut. Make no mistake.
