A carbon tax is one of the most evil forms of governmental extortion because you are charged for simply existing. Because this forced fee is so anti-human, the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee has sent a recommendation for the government to begin to study how this tax would control the weather.

According to The Daily Signal:

“This week, Congress took a step toward passing a carbon tax—an inflationary, regressive tax on all products that would lower economic growth; make all Americans worse off; and disproportionately harm poor people, farmers, and small businesses. Politicians have rightly rejected carbon taxes in the past and should continue to do so.

On Jan. 18, the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee voted to send a proposed law to the full Senate that would require the federal government to conduct a study calculating the carbon emissions of a broad range of different products made in America and other countries. These include construction materials, plastics, and fertilizers—all vital to small businesses and corporations that power the economy.

The bill’s proponents say they are responding to carbon taxes in Europe, which will be implemented in 2024.”

Don’t you just love how the government is always finding more and more ways to take sums of our income? I guess inflation is just not enough to please their authoritarian and narcissistic nature.

Your very breath and existence generate Carbon. Carbon is essential for both human life and nearly everything on this planet. The left is a literal death cult. They hate everything about humanity and think it would be better if we were to cease to exist. Why else would they hate one of the most essential gases that keeps us alive?

What total monsters.

They also want to tax fertilizers. We cannot even eat without the left telling us we are causing way too many 75-degree days. Eating is now evil because it might cause the wind to blow in the direction opposite of what the government demands.

Taxing Carbon is de facto taxing everything. But no matter how much money we fork over to the Washington bureaucracy, they will never be able to stop “climate change”. These people are so incredibly naive it is painful. The climate has always, and I mean always, been changing. And they have yet to define the most perfect example of utopia they have arbitrarily set in their minds.

I have yet to see any evidence that taxing people’s existence would do much of anything to prevent the Midwest from having another snowstorm. But the left does not care when it comes to little things like the burden of proof.
