Carly Fiorina: 'Income Inequality is Real...Because of Liberal Policies'
We know the left is going to hit us with their "income inequality" talking points this election season. It's as predictable as the "global warming will destroy us" mantra every time it gets hot in the summer (or cold in the winter). Though if leftists actually wanted to fight income inequality, they would start with the Obama White House, where income inequality's been on bedazzling parade.
The rub? While "income inequality" is code for "those meanie Republicans want to keep all the money for the Koch Brothers," the truth is... liberal polices are causing income inequality. Pretty severely. How?
We'll let Carly Fiorina explain...
What I would point out to Hillary Clinton is that every single one of the policies that she is currently pursuing makes income inequality worse. Exhibit A: income inequality under the Obama administration. Exhibit B: every liberal state in this nation. I spent twelve years in the state of California, a state that's been ruled by liberals for a long time. And guess what you have: about a hundred and thirty billionaires--good for them--the highest poverty rates in the nation, the exodus of the middle class, the destruction of industry after industry after industry. Income inequality is worse under progressive policies, because progressive policies favor the wealthy, the well-connected, and the powerful.
Boom. Think the rest of the Republican field will follow her lead?
