Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney said in a debate that Joe Biden should not run for reelection. Congressman Jerry Nadler said the same thing. Yes, they're both Democrats. Joe Biden is such a trainwreck, his party is attempting to put him out of their misery before the midterms. It's both fascinating and hilarious to watch. Though, Maloney walked back her disrespect on CNN this morning. Kinda. This is in the top five all-time most cringeworthy media appearances.

To quote Axios's Jonathan Swan, hang this one in the Louvre.

"Mr. President, I apologize. I want you to run. I happen to think you won't be running, but when you run or if you run, I will be there 100%. You have deserved it. You are a great president and thank you for everything you've done ..."

Here's what I don't understand. Maloney and Nadler say Biden shouldn't run. Cori Bush runs away from reporters. Joe Manchin refused to endorse Biden even as he's selling himself and West Virginia out for the sake of Biden's agenda. Why not just lie so you don't hurt Ol' Puddingheead's feelings?

I get that no one WANTS Biden to run again. Much like the people leaking to the press, the elected officials all have someone else in mind they want to run instead. And they are attempting to nudge Joey to not run on those candidates' behalf. But leakers have the sense to do so anonymously like normal political hacks.

Just lie and say you think Biden is running for a second term. Unless Biden has grown so toxic that he is a liability in a primary for one of the most leftist congressional districts in New York City.
