Military family reunited with their missing kitty after the movers discovered where the cat had been hiding for three weeks
This story is the reason people believe cats have nine lives.
A family moved from Washington to Colorado and was beside themselves after figuring their cat got spooked and ran away while loading the moving truck. So while they searched high and low, they had no choice but to head to their new destination without their feline companion.
After three long weeks, the family presumed the worst, which is that they will never see their cat, Sunny-Loo, again. However, after three weeks their cat was found alive when the movers dropped off their sofa.

"We bought a little carrier for her so she can come on the airplane with us and everything ... and then we didn't know where she was, and we thought, 'Oh my gosh,'" Andy told KKTV about how he, his wife and their two young daughters reacted.
The Hansons spent days searching for the feline, enlisting other family members and neighbors to help, but the search party had no luck. Eventually, the family had to board a flight to Colorado and leave their Washington-based loved ones to continue the search for Sunny-Loo.
Sunny-Loo was their daughter's emotional support animal, as she suffers from ASD. So you can imagine this was extremely hard on her. However, their presumptions were incorrect and the family cat is alive and well.
"So the moving truck came, and they unloaded our stuff. ... They brought in our Hide-a-Bed sofa, and we put it down and started to unwrap it," Andy told KKTV, adding that after a few minutes of working on the tightly wrapped couch, the family heard a meow.
The little meow belonged to Sunny-Loo, who must've hidden deep inside the Hide-a-Bed sofa when the Hansons' movers arrived and ended up stuck in the piece of furniture. Somehow, the feline survived inside the couch without food or water for three weeks.
The vet did not have a medical explanation as to how Sunny-Loo survived that long without food or water but did not hesitate to call this a miracle. So while the cat may have lost eight lives over nearly a month, it’s great that Sunny-Loo was reunited with her family, as it’s a reminder that miracles do exist.
