A Catholic monk, who lives as a hermit in the Appalachian mountains, has announced she is a transgender man and is demanding the church "deal with us because God has called us into this church.” And it’s unclear what that means but there is no logical reason why shehas not been excommunicated, because God has not called any trans Monk to the Church, but I digress.

According to The Daily Caller:

Catholic hermit Brother Christian Matson of the Diocese of Lexington in Kentucky publicly announced Sunday that he was transgender.

The 39-year-old Benedictine oblate believes he is “the first openly transgender person in his position in the Catholic Church,” according to Religion News Service (RNS).

“You’ve got to deal with us, because God has called us into this church,” Matson told RNS. “It’s not your church to kick us out of — this is God’s church, and God has called us and engrafted us into it.”

I missed the part in the Bible where God supposedly made a mistake and incorrectly “assigned” the wrong gender to this monk.

Matson said that he transitioned in 2006 before converting to Catholicism in 2010. After feeling called to the religious life, a cannon lawyer told him that marriage and priesthood “were categorically off the table” but advised him that life as a hermit could be permitted if he were up front with church leaders, the outlet reported

Matson decided to go public with his life after a student who identified as transgender and nonbinary told him he felt the church rejected him.

“I can’t stand by and let this false and, at times, culpably ignorant understanding of what it means to be transgender continue to hurt people,” Matson said. He expressed frustration over Vatican documents that reject “calls for public recognition of the right to choose one’s gender.”

Oh, hold on. Wait a minute!! This trans monk really just called the normal ones “ignorant.” Um, excuse me?!

Question: If she HATES Christianity that much, so much so that she refuses to follow the rules and goes out of her way to disregard the word of God, why on earth does she want to be a monk?!?!?!

According to Deuteronomy 22:5: “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God."

So actually, she should “DEAL WITH” it.

Also, if she/he/they/them is a hermit, why is there even an announcement? Is it to slander those who follow and believe in scripture as bigoted?

These people obviously have no respect for God or His plan and it's blasphemy that they pretend to do so while pointing their fingers at everyone else and screaming "Deal with it," when they are the ones who need to DEAL.

Are people supposed to glorify this as if something has been accomplished? Because as far as I am concerned, if he/she/they is not glorifying God in what he/she/they does, then I won't be condoning any of that. And he/she/they is not glorifying God because he/she/they is essentially declaring God to be imperfect, as if He wants her to lie to herself and pretend to be a man.
