Feminists are passing around this 'Causes of Rape' graphic. Because when you're a feminist, handing out flyers about rape is more important than addressing real rape culture in Islam. Priorities. Here's the flyer:

Yes, the only cause of rape are rapists. That is 100% true. Rape is a crime that should be punishable with cruel and unusual means. Or at the very least by making the rapist walk around general population wearing a sign that says "I'm a rapist." Very least. Suggestion to make it better? Women do more than say mean words at him. Maybe they throw more than dildos at him. These are all but suggestions.

Here's the rub with feminists making this point though:

1. These are the same people who think rape culture is a thing (though not real rape culture). They also think that words can rape you. Also, Disney Princesses.
2. These are the same people who think you're a rapist just because you were accused of being one.
3. These are the same leftists who want to make it harder for women to protect themselves against would-be rapists.
4. There's one group left out of this list, but I can't put my finger on which one it is.
5. They support Hillary Clinton.

None of which has to do with the fact that no one actually claims that you get raped because of who you are, where you walk, or the way that you're dressed. Of course all rape is caused by rapists. Just like all war casualties are caused by soldiers and weaponry. That doesn't change the fact that we have to try and mitigate the circumstances that lead to war.

But let me go back to number four. What's not included in their cute little graph is Islam. Maybe they meant to include Islam under their "rapist" bullet point. I'd suggest they add a point to their flyer: people who refuse to acknowledge that Islam harbors rape culture. Willful ignorance about Islam's penchant for rape has led to too many rapes in Sweden, Germany, Denmark and Finland to even count. No really, we've run out of abacus' and can't afford a phone. Flyers aren't going to help. What will help is addressing real rape culture in Islam. Advocating for those women, petitioning those governments, would actually help those women. A lot more than your stupid flyer.

Risk management does NOT mean victim blaming. The problem is that risk management requires an analyzing of facts and data. Which then requires an objective viewpoint. Which inevitably leads to some politically incorrect answers.

Like Islam supporting rape culture.
