Watch: School board president shuns Bible, gets sworn in on p0rnographic books "banned" from schools instead
Let everyone know you're a strange animal with the Strange Animal long sleeve! Get it today at CrowderShop.com.
The people of the Central Bucks School District in Pennsylvania have apparently spoken, and they DEMAND pornography in the school libraries. They also demand more activist teachers and demand girls' have sports opportunities taken from them competing against boys who say they are girls. Board President Karen Smith -- yes, she is an actual Karen -- went right to work after being sworn in on a stack of banned books.
I know that you know that I know that you know these books aren't actually banned. But that was another thing that got tossed: parents being allowed to speak out.
I’m not particularly religious. The Bible doesn’t hold significant meaning for me, and given everything that has occurred in the last couple of years, the banned books, they do mean something to me at this point.
The Bible doesn't mean anything to Karen. But Flamer does. Fox News reports the novel is semi-autobiographical and about a boy bullied at a Boy Scout summer camp for, and this is a quote, "acting in a manner considered stereotypical of gay men." Per the book, that appears to mean passing around a soda bottle, ejaculating in it, and then the person who doesn't ejaculate gets to drink from the bottle filled with everyone else's...
I think you get the point. But if not, here is Captain Morgan reading from it.
Another book was All Boys Aren't Blue. That one is so pornographic that when Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds read it out loud to make a point, it was too vulgar to be aired on television. School libraries are fine, though. If I understand the rules correctly, the Iowa media not reporting Gov. Reynolds reading from the book means they are banning the book. Also, they're homophobic. Possibly transphobic too.
Allowing parents a say in what is mandated on their children wasn't the only thing that's gone in Central Bucks schools.
Last year, the board voted to update a Library Materials policy that allows residents to challenge books and sets criteria for the selection and removal of a book. Critics contended that the policy targeted the LGBTQ community and people of color.
The board also voted to freeze a policy that restricted transgender athletes from competing in sports and a policy that banned teachers from engaging in "advocacy activities" in the classroom.
So, while there has been a push throughout America to stand up to our kids being indoctrinated while a captive audience in public schools, the parents of the Central Bucks School District decided their kids weren't being indoctrinated enough.
Or enough parents who voted to swing the majority thought so. In some of these school board elections, only a thousand or two people bother voting. The ones who didn't are in for a shock and have no one to blame but themselves.
