Hot 97's Charlamane tha God (point of reference: Hillary told him she keeps a bottle of hot sauce in her purse) is finding out what happens among liberals when you "befriend" or have a conversation with someone who thinks differently than you. In short, they lose their s*** and turn on you. Then those same liberals wonder why Donald Trump won. While claiming they're opened minded, tolerant little fluff balls of #LoveWins. Uh huh.

The radio personality caught some heat for simply talking to The Blaze's Tomi Lahren. Which he discussed on "The Breakfast Club..."

“Do you want diplomacy or do you want division? I’m talking to Tomi because I care about the rhetoric that comes out of her mouth, because she has influence. The narrative she paints about Black Lives Matter is dangerous. The same way people can hit her up on social media and tell her how wrong she is, I can meet with her [in person] and tell her the same things. I don’t like talking about people. I like talking to them.”

Sounds reasonable, no? Obviously we disagree with him over Black Lives Matter, but reasonable people can disagree. We have guests on LwC all the time we disagree with (see Sally Kohn vs. Steven Crowder Full Debate! and DL Hughley Debates Steven Crowder on Race and Transgenderism). What Charlamane is basically saying is that you're not going to change hearts and minds by screaming at people or calling them racists.

Again, liberals saw on Election Day what happens when they demonize anyone who disagrees with them over anything.

Then you have this tweet...

Charlamagne is referring to a platform. A figurative place where someone can spread a message to a great number of people. In this case, Charalmagne simply would like someone with an opposing view point of Tomi Lahren to use a similar platform. Of course there's plenty of that on... pick your news channel, but his point is one of diplomacy, not hate and division.

Unsurprisingly, his fans disagreed...

That's why we at LwC are giving leftist outrage our "Donkey of the Day."

Because sorry, Charlamagne wasn't out of line. He was reasonable. He wanted to change minds with talk. Real talk. His fans? Not okay with it. Which should obviously tell you something. The left isn't interested in changing minds or hearts. They're not interested in balanced, leveled discussion with the opposition. They prefer bully tactics, mob mentality, and screaming hate, even in digital spaces.

This story just provides us with even more proof. Thanks guys. #Tolerance
