Charlamagne Tha God issues warning how bad illegal immigration is HURTING Dems: "Biden has to take credit for the bad"
Charlamagne That God has made it clear if he is forced to choose, he'll vote for Joe Biden as the lesser of two evils. That's fine and not unexpected. Most Democrats (or "independents" who vote party line D) will do the same. Unlike most Democrats, Charlamagne is intellectually honest about the party's problems. I share these posts because those problems create opportunities for the Right if we're ever smart enough to take them.
"The Breakfast Club" host has already said Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott's plan to ship illegals to sanctuary cities was genius from a political standpoint. And we're seeing in real time why.
"I honestly have never spoken to as many people who are concerned about the migrant issue as I have, you know, over the past year ... I’ve never seen working-class people who I interact with every day until this past year really, really, really expressed their frustration for the migrants."
He pointed to the recent issue at Brooklyn's James Madison High School.

- Brooklyn voted 74% for Democrat Joe Biden in 2020
- Brooklyn voted 72% for Democrat Kathy Hochul in 2022.
- The four Democrat congresspeople who represent Brooklyn were relected in 2022 with 72% to 82% of the vote.
- Only 33% of Brooklyn bothered voting in 2022.
2000 illegal immigrants who were being sheltered in Brooklyn needed somewhere else to go "out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals working and living at the center" because of bad weather. They were sent to the high school. Students -- legal ones -- were being told to stay home and were sent to remote learning. The best part? Students -- the legal citizens booted from their school -- needed to REQUEST a teacher to Zoom in. Otherwise, they were expected to just do their assignments on their own.
When the A.W.F.L. principal was confronted about this by parents -- who are legal and pay exorbitant school taxes for NYC public schools -- the principal lashed out at them like they were villains here.
Charlemagne made it clear who was at fault here.
"[Biden] has to take credit for the bad as well because those things happen on his watch. And I’m telling you, people are going to go to those sound bites … where they saw President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and Mayor Eric Adams and all of these other, you know, liberals and Democrats, they’re going to go to those sound bites of them welcoming them into sanctuary cities."

Working-class people living in progressive cities thought complaints about illegal immigration were nothing but right-wing nonsense until those illegal immigrants illegally immigrated to their cities. Their cities, where those same voters keep electing politicians bragging about being "sanctuary cities" and where "no human being is illegal."
They sound like areas ripe for a message that a) your Democrat leaders have been lying to you these past decades, b) Republicans have a plan to stop illegal immigration, and c) while Dems are the party of illegals (we have decades worth of evidence to draw from) we're the party of the working class.
