TheDC noted to Rangel he and other members of Congress are protected by armed members of the U.S. Capitol Police.

“Well that’s a little different. I think we deserve–I think we need to be protected down here.” Rangel laughingly insisted.

As a reminder, this is the same Charles Rangle who is a total tax cheat. So you should pay your taxes lest you go to prison, get fined, or whatever, but Charles Rangle? Not so much. He's applying the same "what's good for the goose doesn't apply to me because you suck" meme to guns. "I, Charles Rangle, chief asshat, need armed protection. You, puny American citizen, do not. Also, pay your taxes because me no does it."

This kind of "Protection for me, none for you" elitism is standard operating procedure for leftist, elitist snotmuffins.  From Obama to Hillary, Rangle to Amy Schumer, leftists believe they are better than you. They are more important than you. Ergo, their better, more important dimple butts need greater protection than your sweet little tushy.
