Assault and claims of transphobia rocked a cheerleading camp at a Texas college. Where one cheerleader claims she was choked by another cheerleader, and the other cheerleader says it was justified because of 'transphobia.' It's he said, s/he said, where I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Averie Chanel Medlock is the alleged choker who was tossed out of cheerleading camp--born a male but according to the AP style guide is a woman. The other cheerleader, "Karleigh," according to science, is also a woman. Not sure what "Karleigh's" real name is. Though, I understand why she wouldn't want to give it.

Police responded to a dispute between team members at Ranger College. There isn't footage of the alleged choking incident. However, Medlock did share footage of her confronting teammates who were locked behind a door terrified about what Medlock might do next.

Medlock (via Facebook) is all like: "Well guys I’m officially retired as a cheerleader as of last night at 5:30 AM. A girl on the team was being very disrespectful and told me I am a MAN with a PENIS and that [guys] should not be on the team. I stood up for myself and she called her mom and dad because she was scared because I [stood] up for myself. Her father said ‘she still has testosterone and a penis and I will kill anyone who comes after my daughter.’"

"Karleigh's" dad, also via Facebook, is all like, "I ask you what you would have done when receiving a phone call at 1 o’clock in the morning from your daughter stating they had locked themselves in the room with other girls. At no time did I ever say anything about your race or your gender."

Police were all like, here is a citation for Assault by Physical Contact due to allegations of unwanted touching. Medlock--who said no one took her side--was yeeted off the Ranger College campus. Also, she was only joking during the alleged unwanted touching.
