The most infuriating thing about relying on the weather to control the weather is that you cannot actually control the weather. And no matter how hard the government taxes us, they will never be able to control the direction of the wind or the subfreezing temperatures in Chicago.

Because of this thing called “winter,” there is a storm in the Midwest right now. Subsequently, charging stations in Chicago have turned into Electric Vehicle cemeteries due to the fact it is too cold to charge the cars.

“Desperate Tesla owners in and around Chicago were seen trying to charge their vehicles with no luck amid frigid temperatures that have gripped the Midwest.

Charging stations have essentially turned into car graveyards in recent days as temperatures have dropped to the negative double digits, Fox Chicago reported.

‘Nothing. No juice. Still on zero percent,’ Tyler Beard, who had been trying to recharge his Tesla at an Oak Brook, Illinois Tesla supercharging station since Sunday afternoon, told the news outlet. ‘And this is like three hours being out here after being out here three hours yesterday.’

Beard and several other Tesla owners were trying to charge their cars amid long lines and abandoned cars at other Tesla charging stations in the Chicago area, the news station reported.

"This is crazy. It’s a disaster. Seriously," said Tesla owner Chalis Mizelle.

Mizelle said she abandoned her car and got a ride from a friend after hers would not charge.

‘"We got a bunch of dead robots out here,’ one man said.”

Wow. It might seem that we are not even close to being ready for Biden’s EV mandate. But facts don’t tend to get in the way of the left’s climate alarmism. So when progressives decide to run the entire economy on solar and wind, it is quite obvious that they do not have a plan on how we would run things when the sun goes down or when there is no wind.

However, Democrats do believe they can control the weather if only we were to tax people just an itty bitty more. So it would make sense as to why they have no thought about those minor inconveniences.

The ironic part is that this story was reported just days after Gov. JB Pritzker announced the state has secured a grant of $14.9M to support the expansion of EV charging infrastructure in Illinois.

But what is the point of building charging stations if you cannot charge your car? That is unclear. But what is clear is that the left has not a clue about much of anything. And on top of that, everything they touch turns into chaos. It is almost as if this is what they want.

Look, EVs are not the magic pill that the government has been hoping will control wind in The Windy City. EVs will not control the amount of rain the desert gets. And Evs will not control much of anything but more misery for the average American.

I have yet to see a story that claims EVs have made anyone's life better.

So rather than pretending that the sun will explode if we don’t radically transform society back into the dark ages, maybe we should take just a small step back.

This also shows how sociopathic the left is. They will completely ignore this story, probably label it as some right-wing conspiracy, and demand more funding for something that won’t do anything but cause inconvenience, to say the very least.

And for the millionth time, no matter how much the Government taxes us, they will never be able to control the direction of the wind.
