Were you planning on traveling at some point this summer? Gas prices may be ridiculous, but I know of a few people who are making some trips. If you are, I'd stay away from Chicago. The Chicago PD needs to put out a similar message as the LAPD: "Stay away! No one can protect you here!"

While most Americans were enjoying the Independence Day weekend, filling their bellies with barbeque and setting off hundreds of dollars in fireworks--hopefully, not in their bedrooms--Chicago (or as a few of my friends call it, "ChIraq") was filled with the sounds of gunfire as at least 71 people were shot from Friday until Tuesday. Eight of those people died as a result of their wounds.

Certainly, this will never be addressed by Mayor Lori "Beetlejuice" Lightfoot. In fact, if she says anything about it at all, she might celebrate the fact that not as many people were shot as the year before! Such an accomplishment!

Breitbart reports that from the first of the year until July 4, 2022, 321 people have been killed in Chicago. That's an insane figure. Perhaps Chicago just needs stricter gun laws... That's gotta be the problem.

But while Chicago continues to devolve into a sh*ttier leftist sh*thole under progressive governance, the head of the incompetent government Lightfoot is focusing on stirring up even more violence for the purpose of politics. Such is the way of Democratic politicians, I suppose.

But, as I said, Lightfoot probably won't comment on the bloodshed this past weekend, and if she is asked about it, she might ignore the question if the questioner has the wrong skin color. And if she can't ignore the question based on that, she might just pull a Biden and meander away.
