Chicago cancels its Cinco de Mayo parade, and of course it's somehow Trump's fault
The only reason one should fear deportation is if they have broken federal immigration laws. This is why it’s unclear why organizers decided to cancel a Cinco de Mayo Parade in Chicago, but you do the math.
BREAKING: The Sanctuary City of Chicago just canceled its annual Cinco de Mayo parade to protect all the criminal illegal aliens from being arrested and deported by Trump ICE raids.

LOL. The organizers implied 'people before profits, ' but the real reason may or may not be because half the sponsors dropped out.
According to The Post Millennial:
The reason, they say, is fear within the Mexican community due to immigration policies under President Donald Trump’s administration. Organizers said they chose to cancel the event to focus on safety rather than profits, ABC 7 reports.
LOL. What’s comical about their reasoning is that it’s blatantly racist, as the organizers implied that the majority of “the Mexican community” is here illegally. However, an illegal alien is not a race or nationality, and it’s naive to imply such a thing. Nonetheless, it’s also comical how they act as if people who are actually fearful of being deported can’t just stay home, but that is neither here nor there.
“Our people are scared,” said Hector Escobar, President of the Casa Puebla & Cermak Road Chamber of Commerce. “See, some of them, they don't even want to go to work and some of them, they've taken a high risk. And, definitely, it's not much to celebrate.”
The crazy thing about that is that no one forced them to be here. So, if people are fearful of being deported, then they should have done this the legal way. However, these people chose to break federal immigration laws the moment they arrived, proving how entitled they feel to take advantage of the system. Nonetheless, this is nothing more than a personal problem, and they only have themselves to blame.
"Our community is very frightened because of the raids and the threat that ICE has imposed on the families that work tirelessly to provide a better future for their kids," Escobar said. "Our community has faced bullying and prosecution and are not indulging in community activities, therefore we feel that there is nothing to celebrate."
He has some nerve claiming they are being bullied when they have shown how much they disrespect our immigration system, so much so that they have proved they think they have a right to be here over those who wait years to do it the legal way. Nonetheless, if you don’t want to live in fear of getting caught, don’t commit the offense in the first place. This is not rocket science.
“We don't want to have any confrontation or having people taken away from the festival, from the parade to custody,” Escobar said.
It’s unclear how many times the Trump Administration has to inform the left that these are targeted deportations, but it’s not like they listen anyway. They are so delusional that they think that ICE will be waiting at a Cinco de Mayo Parade, and that is just not how these things work. Nonetheless, canceling this parade is a mockery to law-abiding Hispanics, and the fact that the organizers think this is compassionate is pathetic yet deeply naive.
